As I lived 3 years in Japan, I love art that is any form of Asian. This comes from a majestic wall hanging that was actually from Viet Nam, almost 40 years ago.

Silk Twill
- Weight: 120g/m2, 14 momme

Features
- Smooth surface with a moderate sheen
- Visible diagonal texture resulting from the typical twill weave in this fabric gives this fabric strength
- High drapability and dimension
Care
- Due to some residual ink from the print process, for first washing wash alone with a full load setting in cold water. Add a mild detergent, 1 cup vinegar and 2 tsp salt. For future washes, machine wash cold water with a phosphate free detergent. Add a mild fabric softener to enhance softness and drape.
- Machine dry on low heat or hang to dry.
- Iron on silk setting (delicate) with low steam.
- Expect some shrinking: 1% in width and length
Polychiffon
- 100% polyester, woven fabric.
- Weight: 100g/m2
- Semi-transparent

- Semi-transparent - It has a very high degree of print through onto the back side, similar to a lightweight silk, so you'll see prints on the backside almost just as well as on the front
Care
- Machine wash warm water in a regular cycle using a phosphate free detergent

- Expect minor shrinking: less than 1% in width and length

- Weight: 180g/m2
- 4-way stretch fabric made of 15% spandex and 85% ecopolyester.
- Eco conscious fabric made entirely in Montreal
- Slinky, lightweight knit fabric that both looks and moves great
- Minimal shrinkage
- Will not fade
- Perfect, smooth surface texture for crisp, vibrant prints
- Print through to backside is about 50%

Which Fabric is the Best Choice for You?
Will you wear the sash or not?
The poly chiffon is semi-transparent. This would be the best choice if you plan to wear it open, without the sash. The silk twill is a luxurious choice if you plan to wear the sash. The silky knit is a slinky, with a fluid drape fabric and would be best worn with the sash. Both the silk twill and silky knit print through to the back side about 50%, whereas the poly chiffon print through is 70-80%. So, the underside will show slightly white if you wear it open when the visibility could flip to the underside while wearing it.- Print Through
