The Design
The design for this men's rash guard shirt originated from an underwater photograph. Our founder's nephew had vacationed in Jamaica and took the photo during one of his scuba diving excursions. Isn't that amazing? This is the real deal, what the ocean floor looks like.
What is a Rash Guard?
The first recorded rash guard appeared between 1985-1990. They are fitted shirts designed for ocean sports to protect the wearer from harsh sea salt and sunburn. Also referred to as a rashie or rash shirt, the fabric is typically a blend of polyester and spandex for protection and comfort.
